I always have got problems to know how to set an image in a button. The sticking with program code snippet does the work: NSString. im1 = NSBundIe mainBundle pathForResource:@'arrów right' ofType:@'png'; NSURL. url2 = NSURL fileURLWithPath:im1; NSImage.image = NSImage alloc initWithContentsOfURL: website address2; toggleButton setImage: image; NSString.im2 = NSBundle mainBundle pathForResource:@'arrow remaining' ofType:@'png'; urI2 = NSURL fiIeURLWithPath:im2; image = NSlmage alloc initWithContentsOfURL: web address2; toggleButton setAlternateImage: image; The code above set's 2 images in a toggle switch. Take note that if you would like transparant pictures, you need.png files and not really jpeg's (GIF also works).
