Mac Office programs [regardless of version] use the Clipboard facility provided by OS X. Please search the Community using the keyword clipboard for discussions on the matter. If you'll specify what it is that you're trying to do perhaps someone can offer suggestions or alternatives. Seems that for Office 2016, they do now have a Clipboard pane like exists in the Windows version. It appears from reading that it has to do with the way clipboard works for a Mac. I teach Office 2016 at our community college, and I know that we teach the Windows version. All text you copy or cut in Word 2016 is stored in a location called the Clipboard. That’s the standard cut/copy/paste holding bin for text, but in Word the Clipboard is more powerful than in other Windows programs. Am using this drive as an internal backup to the 1 TB SSD that I inserted. Put the old spinning HDD in an external case as a way to hold on to current configuration until I am sure the new setup works perfectly. Followed the instructions in the online video. Compared these instructions to the same ones from ifixit.com.
